Postgraduate Conference 2016

Congratulations to Michael Chapman and Grant Sherbourne, third year PhD students in iPRD who won prizes for their talks at the annual School of Chemistry postgraduate conference. The conference showcased work from PhD students across the school through posters and presentations with several iPRD members presenting on 9th and 10th June.

The event also featured a careers clinic with members of our Industrial Advisor Board; and, an invited plenary lecture by Jim Baggott, who gave an entertaining showcase of his recent book Origins: The Scientific Story of Creation. The conference concluded with a wine reception and was sponsered by the Royal Society of Chemistry, Merck and Lhasa Ltd.
