iPRD Industrial Showcase brings together researchers and industry leaders

Around 100 delegates attended the iPRD Industrial Showcase at the University of Leeds on 21 October 2026, bringing together representatives from more than 20 companies to explore the latest advances in chemical manufacturing.

The one-day event featured presentations from iPRD researchers and invited speakers from industry and academia. Discussions focused on how data-driven methods, artificial intelligence and innovative processing technologies can help transform the manufacture of complex chemical products.

Delegates also visited iPRD's laboratories and scale-up facilities, with strong demand for guided tours of the Institute's automated digital chemistry platforms and advanced manufacturing capabilities.

The event highlighted the value of collaboration between academia and industry, showcasing how iPRD is helping to develop solutions for challenges in advanced chemical manufacturing.
